Prosecutors Vow to Swiftly Bring Ahok Case to Court

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) Junior prosecutor for general crimes, Noor Rahmad vowed that his institution would bring Jakarta Governor Ahok's blasphemy case to court as soon as possible. He said prosecutors would directly examine whether alleged blasphemy fulfilled all requirement set on inthe Criminal Law Procedures Code (KUHAP). One the case dossier examination was finished.

In the middle of November, Ahok expressed his hope that his case would be brought tocourt soon, so people can witness a live trial and he believes that he is not guilty.
